School Based Health Center (SBHC)

The Morris Heights Health Center’s School Based Health Center (SBHC) is committed to providing quality on-site healthcare services, including mental health and health education, to all enrolled students.  The MHHC team provides a variety of services, including physical health exams, routine care of asthma & diabetes, immunizations, dental procedures and individual & group therapy.

We provide services to your child regardless of immigration status or insurance coverage and all services are at no out-of-pocket cost to you. By enrolling your child in our clinic, you are providing them with on-site access to comprehensive medical care so that they don’t have to miss school and you don’t have to miss work for medical appointments.

If your child already had a Primary Care Provider, you can still enroll in our clinic and we will communicate directly with them. To enroll your child in the SBHC you must complete enrollment forms, which are available in the SBHC and the school’s main office.
